LEXICOGRAPHIC AND LINGUOSTATISTICAL ANALYSIS OF CERTAIN HOMONYMOUS TERMS

In this article, we focused on lexicographically giving in dictionaries the terms given as homonymous terms in the 2-volume and 5-volume editions of the “Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek language” and their linguistic analysis. In the field of terminology, the phenomenon of homonymy is not seen as a positive phenomenon. Among the terms by scientists, we can meet opinions that this cannot be put into a linguistic phenomenon. In national and world linguistics, we can say that the phenomenon of homonymy between lexemes is studied in detail. We can find this in the studies of several Russian and Noble Uzbek linguistic scientists, but we have noted and tried to analyze that formative terms also meet in our dictionaries during our analyzes.
