In the article, the average state of the final stable slope angle of the steps and boards in the iron ore mines of different genetic classes is considered in order to determine the stable angles at the end of the quarry boards and steps. In addition, monitoring of the state of deformation of the steps shows the approach of the profile of the step slope in the continuous state of the boundary profile of the inter-block connection failure zones in the massifs behind the quarry contour.
