<strong>ANNOTATSIYA</strong> <em>Taom – inson va u yashayotgan jamiyat madaniyatining ajralmas qismi. Milliy oshxonaning oʻziga xos xususiyatlari esa u yoki bu millat madaniyatining qadimiy ildizlarini oʻzida mujassam etgan. Qandaydir taom yoki ichimlik isteʼmol qilar ekan, kishi beixtiyor maʼlum bir millat madaniyati bilan muloqotga kirishadi.</em><em> Ushbu maqolada “</em><em>食</em><em>” morfemasini xitoy va yapon tillaridagi ma‘nolari hamda semantik maydoni ko‘rib chiqildi. Avvalo, statistik ma’lumotlar va ko‘plab ma’lumotnomalarni saralash orqali "shi" ma’nosining umumiy soni va semantik kengayish usuli aniqlanadi. The unique features of national cuisine embody the ancient roots of the culture of one or another nation. When consuming a certain food or drink, a person involuntarily comes into contact with the culture of a certain nation. in this article, the meanings and semantic field of the morpheme "shí" in Chinese and Japanese languages were considered. First of all, the total number of the meaning of "shi" and the method of semantic expansion are determined by sorting out statistical data and many references. In these countries, food culture, daily life recipes, and their meanings were studied.</em>
