Аннотация

We investigated the efficacy of multirod configurations in end-side pumped solar lasers using simulation studies. Employing a Monte-Carlo photon tracing technique, we developed a simulation model for a three-rod solar laser, validated and calibrated with recent experimental data. Our study of various multirod patterns identified configurations with three and seven rods as promising alternatives to single rods. Multirod solar laser systems showed notable enhancements in laser output power, doubling the output when compared. This substantial improvement was attributed to factors including pumping distributions, resonator losses, and thermal effects. We also addressed technical challenges associated with multiple rod configurations, proposing potential solutions. Our findings emphasize the potential of multirod configurations for enhancing solar laser performance.
