The historical development of mining terminology in Turkic languages showcases the rich cultural and linguistic legacy of Turkic-speaking communities, who have been involved in mining for centuries. This article examines the evolution of mining vocabulary within these communities, emphasizing significant influences and changes from ancient times to the present day. Through a thorough review and analysis of existing literature, the study investigates how interactions with Persian, Arabic, European, and Russian cultures have impacted Turkic mining terminology. It also explores contemporary efforts towards modernization and standardization, as well as initiatives to revive and preserve traditional terms. By analyzing the linguistic adaptations and innovations that have shaped Turkic mining terminology, this research highlights the dynamic nature of linguistic evolution and cultural exchange in Turkic societies. The findings provide valuable insights into the broader linguistic and cultural history of the Turkic-speaking world, underscoring the importance of preserving linguistic heritage while embracing modernization. Diagrams depicting key periods, linguistic borrowings, geographic spread, and standardization efforts visually support the discussion.
