This article focuses on improving the properties of yarns obtained from the ring-spinning machine. The article presents the properties of 20-tex yarn obtained by placing an additional densifying device between the drafting rollers in the ring-spinning machine and compares them with the quality indicators of the yarns produced at the enterprise. Tables, graphs, and histograms show the improvement in yarn quality after installing an additional device (roving guide) on the break draft zone of the ring-spinning machine. As a result of practical research, it was found that the coefficient variation (CVm%) of spun yarns, the number of thin places (Thin-30 % km), neps, and the degree of hairiness (H) improved.
