Attribute Based Access Control Method in Big Data Technologies

With the rise of big data, how to ensure secure access to a large amount of data while considering the integrity of the system has become an extreme challenge. A modified attribute-based access control method for the big data environment—M-ABAC—is proposed in this paper. Under the guidance of five provisions of access control, this paper prefers data confidentiality and consistency of access control without sacrificing important properties of big data, such as volume and velocity. To prevent these kinds of risks, such as unauthorized access and attribute proliferation, M-ABAC uses attribute specification and dynamic adaptation. The proposed method will provide a robust mechanism for data access security in the big data processing environment.
