EFFICACY OF BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS BACTERIA AGAINST THE NEMATODE MELOIDOGYNE INCOGNITA
Аннотация
The experiment was carried out on Orzu cucumbers in a research greenhouse by artificially infecting the roots with gall nematodes. Nematicidal activity of the local strain Bacillus thuringiensis 26 was studied in the ratio 1:1, 1:100, 1:300, and the biological product BioSleep diluted in the ratio 1:1, 1:100, 1:300 was chosen as a reference. The time and application frequency of bioagents were determined. The high efficacy of bacterial strains appeared after double treatment, namely, before planting and 2 weeks after planting (into soil near the root). The bacterial agents contributed to a significant reduction in nematodes. When using bioagents, high efficacy was observed in the Bt 26 strain diluted in the ratio of 1:100. As compared to control 2, plant development was much more active, and a plant growth rate was 39.47% higher, and leaf blades and aboveground organs doubled in number. As a result of our experiment, it was found that the crop yield increased by 48.9% with Bt 26 (1:300), 35.4% with Bt 26 (1:100), and 24.5% with Bt 26 (1:1) versus the reference.
