THE ROLE OF LEGAL EDUCATION IN BUILDING THE LAWFUL STATE AND CIVIL SOCIETY

This article analyzes the role and importance of legal education in the process of building a legal state and civil society from a scientific and theoretical point of view. The essence of the concept of legal education, its legal consciousness and its role in the formation of legal culture is highlighted. The research includes statistical analyzes based on the data of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the United Nations Development Program and the "Social Opinion" center. In the article the level of legal literacy of citizens, the practice of applying for legal aid, the scope of legal education activities conducted with young people were analyzed based on numbers. Scientifically based suggestions and recommendations on improving the legal education system were also developed.
