Theoretical problems of views on the ethnographic group “Turk”
Аннотация
"The article expresses an opinion about the “Turkic” ethnic group, which has long lived in the territory of Central Asia, which has still preserved the traditions of the tribal system, which has common features and unique various aspects with neighboring and fraternal Turkic peoples. Theoretical problems of direct views are analyzed when the ethnographic group “Turk” appeared in the region, in which regions and how it was located, its presence among the Persian-speaking peoples of the region, as well as its absence among other Turkic peoples of the region such as Turkmens, Kazakhs, Kyrgyz and Karakalpaks. Reasons are given for whether such clans as Barlos, Musabozori, Kaltatoy, Karluk are included or not included in the list of 92-cup Uzbek clans in some sources, as well as the reasons why these clans consider themselves “Turkic” or “Turkic group”. Also, conclusions were drawn about the possibility of solving the problem associated with the “Turk” or “Turkic group” of Uzbeks, found in the available statistical and ethnographic materials, through an in-depth analysis of the ethnocultural processes that took place in Central Asia in the Middle and Late Middle Ages."
