AI-Driven Big Data Analytics in Cloud Environments: Applications and Innovations

The combination of big data analytics by means of artificial intelligence and cloud computing is revolutionizing industries through the ability of quickly processing big amounts of data and making smart decisions based on them. This paper focuses on the use of AI in cloud-based cybersecurity and the new development of the AI-Enhanced Cybersecurity Events Dataset from Kaggle. The results reveal that AI can be used for detecting and classifying the threats with an F1 score of 0.82 The study also shows the limitations of the AI in handling multiple layered attack vector and in minimizing the false negatives. This means that risk prioritized AI, XAI and adaptive learning systems should be adopted in order to improve cloud security. It is therefore important for a system that will allow for complete autonomous, intelligent cloud security to incorporate both Artificial Intelligence and human elements.
