Study of Ferrohydrodynamic Fluid Flow and Mass Transfer Characteristics with Stenosis under the Influence of Magnetic Field in a Cylindrical System
Аннотация
A mathematical model of a Newtonian, two-dimensional blood flow coupled with mass transfer under the influence of magnetic field and consistent with the principles of ferrohydrodynamics (FHD) is developed in the study. The blood flow and mass transfer profile are analysed by developing fluid model from Navier-Stokes equation together with mass transfer equation under the influence of magnetic field in the cylindrical system. The governing equations for this problem are then solved using a finite difference Marker and Cell (MAC) method with an appropriate initial and boundary conditions. The Poisson equation of pressure is solved by successive-over-relaxation (S.O.R.) method. Pressure-velocity corrections are imposed to get a more accurate velocity field. In this paper, we obtained the effect of magnetic field strength and intensity on the mass concentration and velocity profiles and presented in a graphical form and discussed in this paper. We also discussed on the position of the wire on the velocity profiles.
