Mathematical Model for the Effect of Heat Transfer on Mass Concentration in the Power-Law Fluid
Аннотация
A numerical study of mass with heat transfer in a stenosed arterial segment is studied in this paper. The flowing blood treated as non-Newtonian fluid governed by power-law fluid through the cosine-shaped stenosed artery. The factors that influence the mass transport process are concentration of gradient, pressure, temperature, and forces. Soret effect known as thermodiffusion occurs in fluid systems when a temperature gradient creates a concentration gradient. Soret effect leads to the depletion of blood components in specific regions of the artery depending on the temperature gradient. Marker and Cell (MAC) method used to solve the problems. The graphical results are presented in more details. The mass concentration profiles are shown to be affected by temperature gradient, where the profile of mass concentration enhances with Soret effect. The flow characteristics of flowing blood are also determined in this study.
