Аннотация

This article examines the treatment of artificially induced purulent-necrotic inflammation in rabbits using a 1:3 aqueous solution of celandine (Chelidonium majus) in combination with specific antibiotics (1 tablet of chloramphenicol, 1 capsule of rifampicin, and 1 tablet of streptocide) and specially soaked tampons containing 3 ml of aloe extract and 2 ml of 2% lidocaine hydrochloride. It was determined that the recovery period in rabbits treated with this combination was, on average, 6 days shorter compared to the control group. During the treatment process, early granulation tissue formation at the pathological focus, the disappearance of hyperemia, swelling, and pain in the surrounding area, as well as epithelialization with scar formation, were observed. Blood analysis revealed a 12.7% increase in erythrocyte count, a 6.2% increase in hemoglobin levels, a 6.2% rise in erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and a 7.5% decrease in leukocyte count. Additionally, a 5.7% increase in total protein levels and a 9.6% rise in albumin levels in blood serum were recorded.
