THE EFFECT OF ?-RADIATION ON THE HOMEOSTASIS OF DIGESTIVE ENZYMES

This study investigates the impact of varying doses of -radiation on the homeostasis of digestive enzymes in laboratory rats. Emphasis is placed on key enzymes such as -amylase, lipase, and pepsinogen. The experimental model utilizes controlled -irradiation (1-6 Gy) and subsequent evaluation of enzyme activity in blood serum over different time intervals (1-60 days). The results indicate that -radiation causes a dose-dependentreduction in enzyme activity, with more severe effects observed at higher doses, particularly 6 Gy.
