The chemical composition of the plant has not been determined in the conditions of the Samarkand region. The article presents the results of studying the composition of microelements and their concentration in the root of the plant. The X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF) method was used to determine macroelements. The results showed that chicory contains important macroelements. The composition of 6 macroelements was determined and the amount was analyzed.
