The Role Of Standards In The Regulation Of Artificial Intelligence In Uzbekistan

The article addresses the issues of artificial intelligence standardization in the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the national Strategy for the Development of AI Technologies until 2030. The relevance of the topic is driven by the implementation of priority AI-related projects planned for 2025–2026, which necessitates the adoption of international standards at the national level. The paper provides an overview of the key challenges associated with standardization and outlines the primary tasks that must be addressed to achieve the goals set forth in the strategic documents.
