Bolshoy Khekhtsir is one of the key places of recreational activity of the population of Khabarovsk and its surroundings. Unique ecosystems have been formed here, and therefore a significant part of the territory has a protected status. At the same time, the actual trampling of the road and path network of one of the main recreation areas in the Khekhtsir Reserve is 57%, and the regulatory requirement for recreational areas is 135.4 thousand hectares, which is 2.7 times less than the current figures.
