Аннотация

Eco-tourism is increasingly recognized as a vital strategy for balancing environmental conservation with economic growth, particularly in areas with sensitive ecosystems that are under threat. This research examines the impact of educating local communities on sustainable practices in eco-tourism areas, focusing on the effect of information transfer processes on environmentally responsible actions. According to the principles of sustainability engineering, the study highlights the role of awareness and training in relation to renewable energy systems, waste management, conservation, and resource-efficient systems in achieving ecological balance. Local learning programs are understood as not just social interventions, but more so environmental and green engineering programs that give the environment resilience. The research findings indicate that community education programs are effective in promoting small ecological footprints, fostering local stewardship, and increasing the adoption of green technologies. Additionally, the integration of renewable energy systems, waste-to-energy technology, and the use of biodiversity monitoring devices has become a primary concern in ensuring that eco-tourism activities have a minimal ecological footprint, thereby achieving long-term sustainability through engineered solutions. In the eco-tourism scenario, education can also shift the paradigm towards local solutions and contribute to meeting global sustainability goals.
