Аннотация

Resume. The growing challenges in public health and food security necessitate a fundamental revision of educational approaches in the fields of nutrition and dietetics. In Central Asian countries, issues related to adequate nutrition, the prevention of diet-related diseases, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles have become increasingly relevant. Socio-economic transitions, changes in dietary patterns, and the growing influence of global food trends have created new demands for professional education and training in this domain. The BERNICA project (Building Education and Research Network for Improving Nutrition Capacity in Central Asia) aims to enhance the educational and research capacities of universities across the region by introducing innovative academic programs in nutrition and dietetics. The project brings together leading medical and educational institutions from Central Asian countries to establish a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange, scientific cooperation, and harmonization of educational standards in nutrition science.
