Аннотация

The paper shows that in rolling mills, in electrolysis shops, in melioration it is necessary to control large direct currents using nondestructive continuous current converters and current meters in circuits without their destruction and rupture. At present, there is no serial production of them. Therefore, their development and research are necessary. The paper briefly reports on the design features of the above-mentioned devices and on the results of developing a magneto-modulation non-destructive current converter for widespread use in practice. Its distinctive features are reduced weight and size parameters and increased metrological characteristics. The dynamic properties of the proposed continuous magneto-modulation current converter are also considered using elements of the similarity theory of means of different physical nature. The proposed magnetic modulation continuous current converter can find wide application in practice and, in particular, in metallurgy, at enterprises producing non-ferrous and alkali metals, in powerful unipolar machines, science and technology and in many other areas.
