TECHNOLOGIES OF ENHANCING STUDENTS' PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES THROUGH SELF-REGULATED LEARNING
Аннотация
This article examines technologies for enhancing students’ professional competencies through self-regulated learning (SRL) in the context of foreign language teacher education. The study is grounded in contemporary theories of SRL and competence-based education and employs a mixed-methods research design. SRL-oriented technologies, including task-based learning, project-based learning, digital platforms, and reflective e-portfolios, were systematically integrated into the instructional process. Quantitative and qualitative findings demonstrate that these technologies significantly improve students’ self-regulation skills and contribute to the development of higher-order professional competencies, particularly pedagogical-methodological and reflective competence. The results highlight the importance of purposeful SRL scaffolding and technology integration in preparing autonomous, reflective, and professionally competent future foreign language teachers.
