INCORPORATION OF BIO-CERAMIC ENDODONTIC SEALERS INTO DENTAL PRACTICE

Resume. Dental materials research is taking a new turn with bioceramic endodontic sealers. Their outstanding mechanical and physical characteristics portend a bright future for them as materials for root canal obturation, particularly in the management of apical disease. The paper discusses clinical instances of bioceramic sealers being successfully used to treat apical periodontitis and provides a comprehensive evaluation of bioceramic endodontic sealers.
