CLINICAL AND ANAMNESTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE IN PATIENTS WHO UNDERWENT CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS GRAFTING AND THEIR IMPORTANCE FOR ASSESSING PERIOPERATIVE RISK
Аннотация
Resume. Background. Coronary artery disease remains a leading cause of mortality, and detailed clinical risk assessment in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting is essential for optimizing perioperative management. Objective. To evaluate clinical and diagnostic features of coronary artery disease in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting and determine their prognostic significance. Materials and Methods. A total of 134 CAD patients aged 39–78 years undergoing CABG with or without cardiopulmonary bypass were examined; statistical analysis was performed at p<0.05. Results. Elderly patients aged 60–74 years predominated (71.6%), with a mean age of 66.0±0.39 years (p<0.05). Dyspnea (99.3%) and ischemic chest pain (97.0%) were the leading symptoms, while chronic heart failure was present in 100% of patients (p<0.05). Conclusions. Patients referred for CABG exhibit a severe clinical profile and a high burden of comorbidities. Comprehensive clinical assessment improves perioperative risk stratification and surgical outcome prediction.
