In this paper, an energy-adaptive sensor fusion platform using ESP32 will be provided. optical wireless converged smart transportation nodes. The system combines inertial measurements, GNSS measurements or optical wireless measurements. enable the dynamic adaptation of sensing and accurate vehicle-state estimation. and communication responsibility goes low to cut down on energy use. An adaptive, hardware architecture, energy-aware extended Kalman filter (EKF). presented are power model, and scheduling algorithm. Experimental sample outputs show less consumption of energy per useful sample and accurate estimation that is adequate to intelligent transportation. system (ITS) applications.
