Stability Analysis of Hybrid Intersatellite Communication Links in Low-Orbit LEO Systems
Аннотация
The paper examines a comprehensive methodology for assessing the reliability and stability of hybrid inter-satellite communication links in low-orbit satellite systems. An integral resilience metric is introduced that takes into account channel availability, delay percentile, specific energy per bit and inter-site ratio. Analytical models of energy budgets for radio-frequency, laser, and hybrid channels are developed. A dual terminal architecture and an algorithm for adaptive switching between laser and radio channels based on threshold and predictive models are described. A comparative analysis showed that the hybrid architecture provides an optimal balance between high throughput and resilience, reducing the risk of cascading failures in dense low-orbit satellite constellations.
