ANALYSIS OF THE LEVEL OF INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE REGIONS OF THE SOUTHERN FEDERAL DISTRICT

The article presents a comparative analysis of the investment attractiveness of the regions of the Southern Federal District. The study is based on quantitative and qualitative criteria, with special attention being paid to indicators characterizing investment activity in the Republic of Crimea. The research methodology includes the collection and analysis of statistical data, the rating of regions based on the methodology of the National Rating Agency, as well as the analysis of the dynamics of investments in fixed assets, the analysis of the sectoral structure and sources of investment. The results of the analysis make it possible to identify the most promising regions of the Southern Federal District from the point of view of investment and identify factors contributing to improving conditions for attracting investment, including the example of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, which demonstrate an increase in investment volumes contrary to rating expectations.
