Аннотация

Green hydrogen, created through water electrolysis using renewable energy sources, marks a significant step forward in pursuing sustainable energy solutions. This chapter investigates the dual landscape of opportunities and challenges that will shape the future of green hydrogen. We look at the newest technological breakthroughs that improve green hydrogen production, storage, and consumption efficiency and scalability. Despite its tremendous potential to cut greenhouse gas emissions considerably while driving economic growth through new sector creation, green hydrogen faces considerable challenges. Key challenges include high production costs, enhanced storage and distribution infrastructure, and technical restrictions in electrolysis process efficiency. This chapter tries to provide a comprehensive view of green hydrogen's current state and prospects by thoroughly analyzing these factors. This thorough overview is an essential resource for parties seeking to navigate and contribute to the changing green hydrogen landscape, ultimately assisting in the worldwide transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy system.
