The evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled innovative applications in retail, particularly in the development of smart shopping systems. This paper presents an IoT-based secure smart shopping system that integrates RFID, embedded systems, and cloud computing to automate the shopping experience. The system enhances customer convenience through smart carts, automatic billing, and secure mobile payments, while also offering real-time inventory tracking for retailers. A key focus of the system is ensuring data security and privacy through end-to-end encryption and authentication protocols. The proposed architecture demonstrates a scalable, cost-effective, and secure solution for modern retail environments.
