Loanwords And Lexical Borrowing: Cultural And Linguistic Perspectives

Lexical borrowing constitutes one of the most visible mechanisms through which languages expand, adapt, and reflect cultural interaction. As societies participate in trade, technology, migration, and digital communication, language contact becomes inevitable, leading to the integration of foreign lexical items—loanwords—into the recipient lexicon.
