Аннотация

This work is about the study of the safety of the educational environment among students with different degrees of involvement in Russian culture. The authors are interested in the question of whether the degree of cultural identity is important when assessing the safety of the educational environment. Does the sense of national belonging of representatives of different ethnic cultures hinder or facilitate constructive interaction and personal development in the educational environment? So, the article examines how the assessment of the safety of the educational environment among representatives of different ethnic groups (using the example of Tatars and Russians) influences the assessment of their safety. Research sample consists of 370 students of secondary multinational schools of the Republic of Tatarstan aged 13 to 17 years (M = 14.8; SD = 1.24). One-way analysis of variance, comparative, and correlation analyses was used as statistical methods. Conclusion: the increase in labor migration of the population emphasizes the importance of the timely formation of socio-psychological mechanisms for preserving national identity and adapting religious and cultural traditions to the modern socio-cultural situation of regional development in the context of ideological and spiritual pluralism. Thus, multiculturalism and equality of religions are key preventive measures to counter socio-cultural threats, terrorism and ideological extremism.
