ANALYSIS OF THE CONSTRUCTIVE SOLUTION OF THE DOME OF THE "KOK GUMBAZ" MOSQUE MEMORIAL MONUMENT LOCATED IN SHAKHRISABZ

This paper analyzes the constructive solution of the dome of the Kok Gumbaz Mosque in Shahrisabz. The study explores dome geometry, load-bearing systems, transitional elements, material integration, and climatic adaptation. Particular emphasis is placed on the relationship between the drum, squinch-like transitions, and wall thickness. The findings highlight the relevance of historical architectural knowledge for restoration and contemporary design.
