This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations of the use of digital pedagogical technologies in teaching history and innovative teaching models. The rapid development of information and communication technologies in the modern educational process requires the organization of the content and methodology of history education based on new approaches. The study reveals the didactic possibilities of digital educational environments, multimedia tools, virtual excursions and interactive platforms in teaching history. Also, the issues of forming historical thinking, critical thinking, independent analysis and digital competencies in students through innovative models are highlighted. The results of the study serve to develop scientific and practical recommendations for the effective organization of history education based on modern pedagogical technologies
