Structure of the elements of the discrete phase model of soil cutting by a three-sided excavator tooth
Аннотация
This article focuses on selecting the geometric parameters of cutters for excavator earthmoving equipment and on the progression of the cutting process. Information is provided regarding the cutting force of the excavator bucket tooth, the physico-mechanical properties of the ore being excavated, and the formulas for their calculation. Analyses have been conducted to study the properties of soils and their influence on the wear of the working elements of earthmoving and mining machines. Wear occurs on the front and rear surfaces of the excavator bucket teeth. This type of wear leads to the failure of the bucket teeth. Information is provided on the areas of wear on the bucket teeth depending on the thickness of the layer being excavated. All data presented in the article was utilized from the bucket teeth of excavators at the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat (NKMK) "Muruntov" quarry. Similarly, the trajectories for forcing the bucket into the soil during the excavation process (A-1-2-3) were examined. Calculation formulas derived from the cutting trajectories of the excavator bucket are provided.
