Trend of development of the conditional deposit (escrow) institution in the legislation of Uzbekistan and Russia

This article investigates the trends in the development of the conditional deposit (escrow) institution within the legislation of Uzbekistan and Russia. Research objectives: to analyze the normative legal acts of Uzbekistan regulating the conditional deposit (escrow) institution concerning the research problem; and to identify the factors influencing the development tendencies of this institution in Russia and Uzbekistan. To achieve these goals, the author employed methods such as comparative-legal analysis, synthesis, and the historical method. Results and conclusions: The development trend of the conditional deposit (escrow) institution in Uzbekistan’s legislation is characterized by the influence of Russian legislation. At the same time, in Russia, this institution is evolving based on the experience of legal practice.
