Аннотация

This study focuses on the theoretical and methodological principles underlying the use of theFive Olympic Rings Method in English language instruction amid the ongoing digital transformation ofeducation. The research examines the conditions necessary for integrating this method into a technology-enhanced learning environment and evaluates its consistency with learner-centered and competence-oriented models of foreign language education. Special emphasis is placed on the instructional capacityof the method to promote the development of communicative, cognitive, and intercultural competences, aswell as to support the formation of critical thinking, self-directed learning skills, and digital literacy. Inaddition, the paper analyzes the role of information and communication technologies, digital platforms,interactive educational tools, and blended learning formats in the practical implementation of the FiveOlympic Rings Method. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is validated through the results of apedagogical experiment carried out in secondary schools and higher education institutions in theRepublic of Uzbekistan. The findings reveal measurable improvements in learners’ language proficiency,increased motivation to learn, and greater involvement in instructional activities.The researchdemonstrates that the structured application of the Five Olympic Rings Method facilitates learnerautonomy, encourages the use of effective language learning strategies, and enhances themastery oflexical and grammatical material within a digital learning context. Overall, the results substantiate thepedagogical value of incorporating the Five Olympic Rings Method into a continuous languageeducation framework and underline its relevancefor the digital modernization of contemporaryeducational systems.
