CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF STOMATOFIT AND TESS PASTE IN REDUCING INFLAMMATORY COMPLICATIONS AFTER WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION

Resume. This article analyzes postoperative inflammatory complications following third molar (wisdom tooth) extraction and their management strategies. In oral surgery, postoperative complications such as alveolitis, swelling, pain, and inflammation of soft tissues are common problems. Therefore, effective treatment and prevention of such complications remain one of the urgent directions of dental practice. In this study, along with antibiotic therapy, “Stomatofit” (a herbal extract–based solution) and “Tess paste” (a topical antiseptic-analgesic agent) were applied. The observations demonstrated that these preparations facilitated faster reduction of pain syndrome, elimination of inflammatory signs, and acceleration of alveolar regeneration. Based on the obtained results, the combined application of “Stomatofit” and “Tess paste” has significant clinical value in managing the postoperative period of third molar extraction and facilitates patient rehabilitation.
