AMIR TEMUR'S VISIONARY GOVERNANCE AND ITS INTERPRETATION IN GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP
Аннотация
This research article examines the scholarly interpretation of Amir Temur’s (Tamerlane) political and military ideologies by international historians and orientalists. For centuries, Temur’s legacy has been a subject of intense debate, transitioning from a Eurocentric "scourge of God" narrative to a more nuanced appreciation of his role as a patron of science, architecture, and centralized governance. The study analyzes the contributions of prominent scholars from Europe, Asia, and America, exploring how they interpret the "Tuzuk-i Temuri" (Institutes of Temur) and the geopolitical impact of his reign. By synthesizing diverse historiographical perspectives, this article underscores the global significance of Temur’s statehood model and its enduring influence on modern diplomacy and cultural integration.
