Аннотация

This article examines the organizational and pedagogical conditions necessary for effectively developing communicative competence in students within the framework of English language teaching. Drawing on contemporary theoretical frameworks and empirical evidence, the study identifies key environmental, methodological, and instructional factors that facilitate the formation of communicative skills in higher education contexts. The research employs a mixed-methods approach combining systematic literature review, observational analysis, and pedagogical experiment involving 120 university students over one academic year. Findings indicate that purposefully structured communicative environments, task-based instructional design, integrative use of authentic materials, and formative assessment practices collectively constitute the optimal pedagogical conditions for competence development. The study contributes to the growing body of literature on communicative language teaching (CLT) and offers practical recommendations for educators and curriculum designers seeking to foster genuine communicative ability in EFL/ESL learners.
