Аннотация

ANNOTATION. This article presents a discourse-based analysis of lexical units in English–Uzbek and Uzbek–English bilingual learner’s dictionaries. The study examines the semantic, pragmatic, and contextual properties of lexical units, as well as the principles and methods of their representation in bilingual lexicographic sources. The findings demonstrate the pedagogical significance of bilingual dictionaries in the language learning process and highlight the necessity of their further improvement based on a discourse-oriented approach.
