This article scientifically and analytically highlights the role of jewelry of the early Middle Ages in the system of artistic and applied arts. Jewelry has been formed in the history of mankind not only as a means of decoration, but also as an important expression of social status, aesthetic taste, religious imagination and symbolic views. Especially in the early Middle Ages, jewelry was further improved in terms of form, material, processing techniques and decorative elements, becoming a high example of applied art. This article analyzes the functional, artistic and symbolic properties of jewelry types such as earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces, and headdresses.
