Аннотация

This article examines the methodology of teaching national games in physical education classes based on information and communication technologies (ICT). The study analyzes the pedagogical significance of national games in developing students’ physical activity, social communication, independent thinking, and national values. Particular attention is given to the role of multimedia tools, interactive platforms, video lessons, virtual simulations, and gamification technologies in improving the effectiveness of the educational process. The research findings indicate that ICT-based teaching methods increase students’ motivation, learning engagement, and comprehension of movement techniques during physical education classes. Furthermore, the integration of digital technologies into the teaching of national games contributes to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage among younger generations. The article also identifies existing challenges related to technical infrastructure, digital resources, and teachers’ ICT competencies, and proposes methodological recommendations for improving ICT-supported teaching of national games in physical education.
