METHODS FOR REDUCING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF THE VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SYSTEM

This article analyzes the negative impact of car maintenance and repair enterprises on the environment and methods for reducing this impact. Waste generated by car service enterprises, harmful gases emitted into the atmosphere, wastewater and hazardous substances were studied from an ecological point of view. Also, recommendations were developed for the implementation of an environmental management system, optimization of the territorial location of service centers and the use of modern environmental technologies. As a result of the study, opportunities for reducing the harmful impact on the environment, as well as increasing the efficiency of the car service system, were substantiated.
