The Situation In Movarounnahr In The 17th Century Based On Maliho’s Anthology

This article examines the socio-political, cultural, and intellectual situation in Movarounnahr during the 17th century based on the analysis of Maliho’s anthology. The study highlights the role of literary sources as historical evidence in reconstructing the period’s realities, including governance, social hierarchy, and cultural life. Particular attention is given to the depiction of political instability, the influence of regional rulers, and the condition of urban centers such as Bukhara and Samarkand. Maliho’s anthology serves not only as a literary compilation but also as a valuable historical document reflecting the worldview, values, and daily life of the society of that time.
