Аннотация
This article presents a comparative-typological analysis of the simple sentence in English and Uzbek. It examines key structural parameters, including the expression of grammatical relations, word order patterns, morphological marking, and the minimal structure of a well-formed clause. The study shows that English relies primarily on fixed word order as an analytic language, whereas Uzbek uses an extensive case system and rich verbal morphology, allowing greater syntactic flexibility as an agglutinative language.
