Аннотация

This article examines methods and technologies of using mobile applications to develop English writing skills of economics students. In the context of globalization, digital transformation, and the growing role of English as a language of international business and academic communication, economics students need not only general language proficiency but also the ability to produce professionally oriented written texts. Writing skills are essential for preparing business correspondence, analytical summaries, reports, presentations, research abstracts, financial comments, and other forms of professional communication. The article analyzes the methodological potential of mobile applications in the development of English writing competence and determines pedagogical conditions for their effective integration into language education. The study is based on theoretical analysis of scientific literature, comparative interpretation of digital learning approaches, and generalization of pedagogical experience in English for Specific Purposes. The results show that mobile applications can improve writing skills when they are used systematically, purposefully, and in connection with economics-related content. Effective methods include guided writing, process-based writing, micro-writing tasks, peer feedback, vocabulary-building activities, grammar support, collaborative writing, digital portfolios, and task-based professional communication. The article concludes that mobile applications should not replace the teacher, but should function as flexible tools that support independent learning, immediate feedback, learner autonomy, and the gradual development of written professional communication in English.
