Art and Heart: The Spiral Design Logic of the Human Cardiac Form — A Unified Framework from Cosmic Compression to Capillary Scale
Аннотация
The human heart is not arbitrary in its form. This paper proposes the Art-Heart Principle: the form that most efficiently delivers life force is simultaneously the form of greatest structural beauty. Cardiac spiral musculature (Torrent-Guasp, 2001), compression dynamics, and capillary-scale design parameters (7 micrometers capillary diameter: Rakusan et al. 1992; 1 mm myocardial layer: Vunjak-Novakovic et al. 2010) are unified under a single compression principle: v proportional to 1/N. The paper addresses designers including Kazuo Kawasaki's tradition of 'hi no utsuwa' (悲の器), bioengineers, and researchers building cardiac tissue constructs.
