Аннотация
This article offers a theoretical-comparative discussion of the existential concepts meaning in English and ichki ma’no in Uzbek motivational discourse. Drawing on lexical typology, frame semantics, and pragmatic theory, the article identifies the conceptual triads that organize each language’s existential vocabulary: why–purpose–calling in English and maqsad–niyat–mas’uliyat in Uzbek. The article characterizes the typological differences between the two triads, particularly the presence of a relational for-whom dimension in Uzbek, and discusses the consequences for cross-linguistic translation, intercultural communication, and the theoretical typology of motivational discourse.
