Аннотация

This article analyzes the pedagogical significance of the STEAM approach in primary education in relation to the opportunities provided by artificial intelligence. The STEAM approach integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics and contributes to the development of scientific observation, technological literacy, engineering thinking, creativity, and mathematical reasoning among pupils. At the primary education level, the STEAM approach helps shape the learner not as a passive memorizer of ready-made knowledge, but as an active subject who identifies problems, conducts experiments, searches for solutions, and strives to create their own product. Artificial intelligence, in turn, can be used as an auxiliary didactic tool in designing STEAM tasks, creating individualized assignments, analyzing experimental results, preparing visual materials, and supporting pupils’ creative thinking.
