MOTIVES FOR METHODOLOGICAL PREPARATION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPEECH COMPETENCE

The speech competence of a future primary school teacher is not limited to grammatical correctness or "beautiful speaking"; it is a set of skills such as clearly expressing thoughts during the lesson, listening and understanding, engaging the student in dialogue, managing the discussion, ethically and confidently conveying evaluative judgments, and selecting written and oral speech according to the situation. Methodological preparation for the development of this competence is determined by the teacher's ability to integrate speech goals into the lesson content, design speech situations, select an exercise system, and establish diagnostics and reflection. The thesis analyzes the motivational foundations of methodological training and highlights factors such as internal motives, external incentives, professional identification, communicative self-confidence, a system of values and goals, and the influence of the educational environment. Pedagogical conditions and practical mechanisms for strengthening motives are also proposed.
